Himalayan Pink Salt can be substituted in for use across all cuisines. Usually the crystals of this salt range from a fine off-white powder to a beautiful pink. Regency’s are uniform, and can look gorgeous even as a garnish on desserts such as salty caramel macarons. Our Himalayan Salt is also frequently used as a bath salt due to it’s unique smell, colour and exotic appeal. Himalayan Salt has to be hand-mined from ancient natural salt deposits, and all the physical copies can’t be replicated in a lab. It’s rich in mineral content that includes over 80 unique minerals and trace elements, which is why it has a much stronger flavour than ordinary table salt or kosher salt. Our favoured use for the salt is for adding final touches to a dish. When finely ground, it can even be added directly without cooking to impart it’s full flavour.
